UBF EDV Handel und Beratung GmbH in Germany, Castrop-Rauxel have extended their PoE product range.

In addition to Office devices in desktop cases or devices for 19" distribution racks the company offers robust variants for industrial environments with extended temperature range, suitable for wall mounting or mounting on 35mm DIN rail.

Available options are devices for Fast Ethernet with 10/100Mbit/s and Gigabit Ethernet with 10/100/1000Mbit/s.

The portfolio includes:

  • Midspan: Injectors that can feed the operating voltage into Ethernet lines. Beneficial in particular to realize a unified management and to separate PoE power supplies from Ethernet switches.
  • Endspan: Switches and media converters provide data and operating voltage on the data cable.
  • Powered Device (PD): Switches and media converters, powered by PoE. Some switches can be powered by PoE and provide the remaining power via PoE to end devices.
  • Splitters for non PoE enabled devices (3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V and 24V).

For diverse applications devices for 230V AC, 110V AC, 12V DC, 24V DC or 48V DC input voltage can be provided.

The operating current for devices according to IEEE 802.3af or according to IEEE 802.3at (high power / PoE plus) up to 70W can be provided on the Ethernet output port.

Injectors according to EN60945 and EN50155 are available for the special requirements of Marine and Railway.
