Industrial 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch - optional with high PoE

UBF provides an Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 10 Gigabit Ethernet uplink and optional high PoE.

Sufficient bandwidth is required for the transmission of high-resolution video signals. If more than one camera is connected to one switch, a gigabit Ethernet uplink (1GbE) to the central processing would become a bottleneck. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) uplink port for SFP+ modules allows the transmission of all Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports simultaneous without delay caused by the bandwidth. Moreover the transmission rate can be increased by using Jumbo Frames.

The Switch can optionally provide operating current for end devices by Power over Ethernet (PoE+ up to 30W /port according to IEEE 802.3at standard or up to 15.6W /port according to IEEE 802.3af standard). Endspan PSE devices with 24V DC up to 55V DC input voltage are available for special environments with different voltage.

The dimensions of the housing (WxHxD 54x142x99mm) enable integration into tight environments. The operating temperature from -40°C up to +60°C allows operation even in non-air-conditioned areas. This is a robust system, equipped with high EFT and ESD protection, polarity reverse protection and overload current protection. The device may be powered redundantly.

The removable terminal block for the power connection allows the easy and tool-free replacement in case of maintenance. The standard equipment with fastening elements for wall mounting and DIN rail mounting allows the use of the Switch without any further accessories in most environments.
