Industrial managed 10 Gigabit Ethernet high PoE switch according to IEEE 802.3at/af standard for 12V DC up to 55V DC environments.

With a fully manageable Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch UBF EDV Handel and Beratung Jürgen Fischer GmbH is expanding its product range with a new powerful model. The connection to the central IT takes place via 2x 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) SFP+ uplink ports. 8x Gigabit Ethernet High PoE RJ-45 ports are available for PoE end devices.

Sufficient bandwidth is required for the transmission of high-resolution video signals. If more than one camera is connected to one switch, a gigabit Ethernet uplink (1GbE) to the central processing would become a bottleneck. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) uplink port for SFP+ modules allows, caused by the high bandwidth, the transmission of all Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports simultaneous without delay. Moreover the transmission rate can be increased by using Jumbo Frames.

The Switch provides operating current for end devices by Power over Ethernet (PoE+ up to 30W /port according to IEEE 802.3at standard or up to 15.6W /port according to IEEE 802.3af standard). The device can alternatively be supplied with 12V DC (90W budget) or 24V DC (180W budget). From a voltage of 36V DC, the entire PoE budget of 240W is available.

The dimensions of the housing (WxHxD 54x142x99mm) enable integration into tight environments. The operating temperature from -40°C up to +60°C allows operation even in non-air-conditioned areas. This is a robust system, equipped with high EFT and ESD protection, polarity reverse protection and overload current protection. The device may be powered redundantly.

The standard equipment with fastening elements for wall mounting and DIN rail mounting allows the use of the Switch without any further accessories in most environments.
