Optical bypass protocol transparent -40°C..+70°C

In the event of a failure or malfunction of a participant in a fibre optic ring or line (daisy chain), the connection is optically bridged. This ensures the continued reliable communication of all other participants. The system is protocol-independent and can therefore be used for any application with multimode or single-mode fibre optics. The bypass is activated in the event of a power outage, when a predetermined trigger voltage is undershot, or when voltage is applied to a signal input. The signal input can also be used to bypass during maintenance. A power-on delay can be configured, in order to ensure the connection remains active even during the boot process of the connected device after fault resolution.
